As Fuel Marking Program Lead, you oversee fuel integrity programmes across Africa, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. You drive the deployment of fuel marking technologies to combat fraud and revenue loss, delivering large-scale programmes in partnership with government and key stakeholders.
Programme Leadership & Strategy
- Lead planning and execution of fuel marking programmes across Africa.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert on marker chemistry, dosing systems, and traceability solutions.
- Manage stakeholders, budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Field Operations
- Oversee field activities including injection, audits, sampling, and inspections.
- Supervise inspectors, technicians, mobile labs, and injection systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards.
Lab Oversight
- Oversee fixed and mobile lab testing for marker detection.
- Approve testing protocols, calibration, and QA/QC standards.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track programme performance, compliance, and marker effectiveness.
- Report to senior government and client stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in fraud detection, cost efficiency, and operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
- Over 5 years’ experience in fuel marking programmes with leadership responsibility.
- Knowledge of marker technologies, dosing systems, and lab analysis.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
